FUNDING ELIGIBILITY

A number of our services are eligible for funding or are claimable, contact us to talk through your individual situation.

  • Medicare Rebates

    All our psychologists are registered with Medicare to provide evidence-based treatment.  Medicare rebates are available for up to 10 sessions per calendar year.
    To be eligible for the rebate, you will need to book a long consultation appointment with your General Practitioner (GP) and obtain both a Referral Letter and a Mental Health Care Plan.  

    If you are referred by your psychiatrist, a referral letter is needed. 

    These documents may be sent directly to us via email or post.  Alternatively, simply bring the Referral Letter and your Mental Health Care Plan to your first appointment.

    Our occupational therapist is also registered with Medicare to provide services via a chronic disease management (CDM) plan.

    To be eligible for the rebate, you will need to book a long consultation appointment with your General Practitioner (GP) and obtain a CDM.

  • Private Health Fund Rebates

    If you have extras cover on your private health fund policy, you may be eligible to claim a rebate for our psychology, clinical nutrition, counselling, or massage services. Please check with your health fund to determine eligibility.

  • National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) eligibility:

    • Self managed NDIS package

    • Plan managed NDIS package

    • Portion of case managed NDIS package

    We can assist you to determine the eligibility for our services to be incorporated into your NDIS package. Please speak to our reception on 5324 2900 regarding adding Early Parenting and/or Psychology services to your NDIS package.

  • Transport Accident Commission (TAC) accredited

    The Centre for Perinatal Health & Parenting are registered providers of TAC funded services for families

  • Victims of Crime Assistance Tribunal Funding

    The Centre for Perinatal Health & Parenting happily receive referrals for VoCAT clients with young families

  • Funding by Third Party

    The Centre for Perinatal Health & Parenting provides assistance to families with approved funding by charitable and support agencies. This is considered on a case by case basis.
